The AV receiver that is the central focus of the Sony HT-SF2300 system is designed to perform best with a Blu-Ray player. It provides 1,000 Watts of power, and is a 5.1-channel system. The Digital Media Port will allow users to connect and listen to digital and portable devices, such as iPods, iPhones, PCs, Walkmans and BlueTooth technology. The sound emitted from these portable devices will be the highest possible quality due to Sony’s Portable Audio Enhance.By using a single HDMI cable, the AV receiver is able to transmit audio and video at 1080p quality, while retaining full bandwidth on the audio tracks. This Active Intelligence optimizes audio and video output, and includes three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. Multiple Sony products can be integrated into this one-touch system to eliminate multiple remote controls. This also allows for One Touch Play options when syncing the HT-SF2300 with other Bravia products. And speaker configuration can be easily calibrated with Digital Cinema Auto Calibration to ensure that movies and music are heard the way they were intended.
