A new app called Explore 3D has been added to Samsung's app store as a free download for 3D capable Samsung televisions.  Not only is it a source of 3D video, but it's the first and only option for streaming video in 3D.

The downside is that the content is extremely limited, at least for now.  All that's available at the moment are trailers for 'Shrek Forever After,' 'Megamind' and 'How to Train Your Dragon,' but Samsung assures that more content will be heading that way in the future.

There's a lot of potential in Explore 3D, though just what Samsung will end up doing with it in the long run is anyone's guess.
