If you're a fan of 3D and a DIRECTV subscriber then you're in luck.  The satellite television provider is the first to offer the new 24/7 3D channel.

The channel is live as of February 13th at 8:00pm and a new program is slated to review every night at 9:00pm EST.  It's a big step forward for the 3D format, and a great way to kick things off.

"Quality 3D programming is vital to the success and increased adoption of the technology," says DIRECTV's Derek Chang.  "We are excited to be the first distributor to announce the launch of 3net and we look forward to continuing to provide our customers with the largest and most compelling 3D programming lineup available."

If you're a DIRECTV subscriber, swing on over to channel 107 to check out the new 3D content.
