More and more 3D discs are on the way and that means it's time to update or upgrade your Blu-ray server. The Solo 1 3D 1TB is a multi-room server from Mozaex that's that comes in three different designs, one of which is a rackmount unit and the other two of which look more like traditional Blu-ray players.
The Solo 1 supports 7.1 channel LCPM audio, but only the rackmount version can handle Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio bit-streams. You'll need a 3D television and 3D Blu-rays to enjoy the 3D experience, as well as compatible 3D glasses. Mozaex has a full list of compatible products on their site, but calls out Nvidia's 3D Vision glasses as a preferred option. The system is fully compatible with 3rd party control options, and is expandable to support up to thirty different players. You're looking at a price of $4,795 for the Solo 1, which is shipping now. Additional players come in at $3,495. |
