When you're setting up a home theater, there's more to take into consideration than just your projector and your source - the screen comes into effect as well. And that goes double for anyone moving to 3D. After all, adding a pair of darkened glasses into the mix changes the picture significantly.
Vutec 's SilverStar line has been tackling 3D since the 80s. It's designed to compensate for the light otherwise lost and create vivid colors despite the glasses. SilverStar screens take advantage of Vutec's patented high-gain of 6.0 and allow for a 180 degree viewing area. The 3D SilverStar screen for active shutter 3D systems has already been revealed, but at InfoComm this week, Vutec will be showing the SilverStar 3D-P screen – for use with passive 3D systems – for the first time. |
