The new 5D screens set out to solve a big problem with 3D content – screen compatibility.  Stewart's 5D screens enhance projected 3D content just like a traditional silver screen but without affecting the quality of 2D material.

According to Stewart, the 5D fabric performs just as well as Stewart's 3D specific fabric but improves uniformity and hot-spotting while providing a wider viewing cone than any other.  The Silver 5D material is compatible with the CineCurve and Director's Choice masking systems and is available now.
