Lumagen
showed off their latest video processor for high-definition
projection-based systems at the CEDIA Expo. The VisionHDQ has four
DVI-I inputs that offer switching capabilities among multiple analog
and digital high-definition sources for improved performance from
digital projectors and plasma displays. It supports output at a full
1920 by 1080p, 60-Hertz progressive resolution and is easy to program
for other resolutions.
The VisionHDQ is equipped with ten inputs including two standard and high-definition Component, two S-video inputs, one SDI and one Composite input This array allows transcoding between Component and RGB analog high-definition sources, image scaling and per-pixel deinterlacing up to 1080p. Signal output is via an analog and digital DVI-I connection or a BNC analog output. The processor automatically detects NTSC, PAL and SECAM signals. It includes four configuration memories per input with different set-up parameters for each memory and a number of test patterns (Gamma, Y/C-delay, multipoint grayscale calibration and CUE and ICP filtering) to ensure the best image. The unit will be available starting in December at a suggested price of $1,999. |
