As part of their ongoing corporate responsibility program, DVDO® will auction off an iScan™ VP30, high definition video processor to benefit the nationally recognized Childhelp® organization via the website http://www.dvdo.com/charityauction/
April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month, and in support of that, DVDO has selected a well-regarded beneficiary of the auction’s proceeds. Founded in 1959, Childhelp is one of the largest and oldest national, non-profit organizations dedicated to the treatment, prevention and research of child abuse and neglect. The organization provides a broad spectrum of programs that directly serve abused and neglected children and their families. The organization's hotline, residential treatment centers and advocacy centers are studied by professionals from around the world, for "best practices" related to child abuse investigation and treatment methods. Visit their website at www.childhelpusa.com for more information. Contributions are 100% tax deductible.
The auction package for April includes a brand new DVDO iScan VP30 in the box with full warranty and an upgrade package. The VP30 offers video processing allowing users to watch all video sources in the native high definition. The upgrade package includes a user-installable Precision Deinterlacing Card as well as DVDO’s Precision SDI Module that allows for a direct digital connection with compatible DVD players. It also features the brand new VP30 silver faceplate. The total retail value of the package is $2,996.
