The MPX1550 also has the ability to transmit audio. The audio and video sent via the IEEE802.11n standard, guaranteeing the ability to transfer higher bitrates.
The box contains a DVI-D output, analog left and right RCA audio outputs, as well as an optical audio input. The media extender also offers a wired ethernet connection. Wirelessly, the extender can transfer up to 110 Mbps. Previous media extenders could transmit at up to 20 Mbps.
