Their new projector line reflects that attitude. There are plenty of new products, including the C3X Lumis Uno. It's the first projector to feature three DC4 chips for a price under $30,000. Its' designed for screens up to 15 feet wide and it's got a 9,000:1 contrast raio, all for $29,999.
The C3X Lumis Hyper-Color is the reference model for SIM2's three chip projectors. It's been specially designed to include a motorized color filter. The Lumis Hyper-Color is built-to-order, so you're looking at a 30 day lead-time if you're planning on picking one up at the MSRP of $41,995.
But if 3D is your thing, you'll want to check out the aptly named Lumis 3D. It's a high brightness dual projector system that boasts Infinitec 3D filter technology, with motorized 2D/3D filter selection. If you're not watching 3D content, you can set up the projector to run in redundancy mode, so there's no chance of your film being interrupted. Pricing for the Lumis 3D starts at $79,999.
