Runco has a pair of new 3D capable projectors designed, as you might expect, with top of the line quality in mind. Both the SC-50d and SC-60d are fully compatible with active or passive 3D glasses technology. They're capable of a full 1080p picture and a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
They're also both using 3-chip Texas Instruments DLP SuperOnyx DMD. Both players will also support the new 3Dimension processor set for availability this fall.
The big difference between the two projectors is one of screen size. The SC-50d is recommended for screens between 100 and 132 inches for the best possible picture, with a maximum size of 264. If you need bigger, the SC-60d can handle it. It's got a maximum size of 420 inches, with a recommended range between 120 and 198.
You can pick up the SC-50d for $88,995, while the 60d will run $98,995.
