Size matters when it comes to subwoofers, and Wisdom Audio is rolling out a compact solution for consumers interested in size. The Sage Series SCS Subwoofer is about the size of a suitcase, and Wisdom Audio says this allows it to be placed in tighter areas that other subs couldn’t fit into.

The SCS uses a 300-Watt internal amp, and should be shipped in Q4 of 2009, retailing at a suggested price of $4,000. It will be officially unveiled at CEDIA Expo 2009.
