The new Linn Sizmik 10.25 is an efficient, powerful, compact, high performance Bass Reinforcement Loudspeaker AKA: subwoofer. Created for high fidelity music, home theater and multi-room applications, the Linn Sizmik 10.25 couples clean, accurate low frequency performance with easy installation and a very unobtrusive appearance. The Sizmik is priced at $1,700 in black and $1,750 for the Cherry/Maple finish.

Digital signal processing and adjustable triple filters deliver over 1000 watts of power to a specially designed drive unit for accurate bass reinforcement Linn claims to improve and extend the scope of any high quality loudspeaker system. Digitally controlled signal processing and a wide operating range allow the Linn Sizmik 10.25 to match the full
spectrum of large and small loudspeakers.

The cool running, hum and buzz free Linn Sizmik 1000 amplifier combines three key new Linn technologies including fast Switch Mode Power Supplies, high density linear power amplifiers and digitally controlled signal processing. Class V operation exploits the fast, dynamic response of the Linn Switch Mode Power Supply by modulating its output to provide over 1000 Watts of bass power while keeping power dissipation to a minimum.

Virtually all the parameters of the Linn Sizmik 10.25 can be easily adjusted to suit the individual users requirements via three buttons and the simple display on the back of the amplifier module. An adjustable digital low pass filter controls the upper frequency limit of the Linn Sizmik 10.25. An adjustable digital high pass filter can be used to trim low frequency signals or to compensate for a natural room resonance and a second adjustable digital high pass filter enables small satellite speakers to be used with the Linn Sizmik 10.25. The subwoofer’s gain can be adjusted precisely over a wide range, and the absolute phase can be either true or inverted to suit the complete system and room positioning of the Linn Sizmik 10.25. Adjustable signal sensing enables the Sizmik to power up automatically from a low power standby state to full operation when it detects an input signal and to revert to low power standby after an appropriate and adjustable time period.

The Linn Sizmik is also available as a fully-accessorised kit, for recessed or hidden location in custom installations and marine applications.
