The new Monster THX Select Certified Subwoofer 200 is a 12-inch subwoofer that features a 200 Watt RMS amplifier. Working within Monster’s line of high-performance Monster THX Select Certified home theater speakers, Monster subwoofers operate as stand-alone low-frequency channels to deliver intense, 0.1 surround sound audio.

M•Design, a division of Monster LLC has announced the addition of the M•Bass 1000 High Performance Subwoofer to the Centra collection of home theater products. The dual-purpose piece is designed to function as an end table as well as a powerful subwoofer. The M•Bass 1000 complements the Centra line of home theater component centers, including the soon-to-be-released Centra StreamLine Tower Speakers.

Carver Digital has introduced the compact and powered SW-500DC and SW-350DC High-Pressure Subwoofers at the International Consumer Electronics Show last week, which are both high-pressure, high-output, front-firing subwoofers. The SW-500DC features a 12-inch woofer, while the SW-350DC features a 10-inch woofer. Both have built-in tracking downconverter amplifiers.

Artcoustic has introduced the Diablo Tech+1 Subwoofer – the smallest and only powered floor standing subwoofer in its product line. Comparable in size and dimension to an ordinary shoe box, the Diablo Tech +1 keeps with the company’s “décor- first” design philosophy.
