"Following the successful launch of our Curved TVs, Samsung is looking to expand the curved line-up with the introduction of Curved Soundbar – a first 'Total Curved Solution' for the consumer AV industry," said Young Lak Jung, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "As the market leader in curved technology, Samsung strives to create the most complete home entertainment experience – whether that’s watching the latest 4K content on our Curved UHD TVs, immersing yourself in incredible surround sound or listening to the latest music throughout your home."
The HW-H7500/H7501 can be wall mounted underneath or used as a stand for Samsung 55-inch and 65-inch curved-screen TVs. The soundbar features a width of 42mm and a curvature radius of 4,200 mm, which matches the radius used in the company's curved displays. 8.1 channel support is integrated with sound being produced from three directions. Likewise, users can control the device with Samsung TV remotes and can wirelessly connect the soundbar to their TVs through "TV SoundConnect."
Meanwhile, the M3 is a new addition to Samsung's family of Wireless Multiroom Audio speakers. This models promises a more compact and affordable alternative to the currently available M5 and M7 devices. The speaker offers simple installation and customers can play audio from multiple sources like their smartphones and tablets. Spotify support is included as well.
Both audio products will be demoed at IFA in Berlin on September 5-10. The HW-H7500/H7501 will go on sale in the US for $800, and the M3 will retail for $200.
