If you're looking for a combination of quality and affordability, Polk has always been a great way to go. The new LSiM line is certainly indicative of that reputation, putting high quality components into easily affordable speakers. The LSiM 707 and 705 are the two floorstanding speakers in the lineup, each featuring transducers built with Polk's Dynamic Balance technology, 3.25 inch mid-range drivers and one inch AIR ring tweeter.
The 705, which comes in at $1,499, sports a pair of 5.25 inch mid-woofers and dual 5x7 inch ELM subwoofers. The $1,999 707 kicks those mid-woofers up to 6.5 inches, and the dual subs to 6x9. You'll find similar specs to the 705, minus the subs, in the LSiM 703 bookshelf speaker. |
