In-ear headphones are becoming an increasingly popular and increasingly high grade commodity. Price and quality ranges from the hard plastic earbuds that Apple includes with the iPod up to in-ear sets that run into the thousands from some of the biggest names in the business.
Monster’s new set falls somewhere between the two. The new Butterfly in-ear headphones were designed to go hand in hand with Vivienne Tam’s new “Butterfly Lovers” fashion line. They sport a curved design and a light gold-brushed finish, and show a butterfly on the back of each bud. “Fashion and music together give you a different journey, different world and experiences of life.” said Tam of the new headphones. “Music gives my designs movement and rhythm. I dance with my designs. Double Happiness.” Monster’s combination of sound quality and fashion is available now. The Butterfly in-ear headphones can be had for $199.95. |
