With one active sub-woofer (PSW 2000), four satellite speakers and one center speaker (all models HTS 2001), the new $1,750 KEF KHT 2005 Home Theater system brings genuine audiophile sound quality at an attractive price.
The elegant KHT 2005 incorporates the futuristically designed, cast aluminum cased HTS 2001 speakers, which are complemented by an all-new 100 mm Uni-Q&Mac226; driver, featuring a new ‘alu-skin’ aluminum faced polypropylene cone and die-cast chassis. The silver-finished speakers are rated to handle 100 watts, are magnetically shielded and can be easily positioned with the integral directional stand either as a center channel or as front or rear satellite speakers.
The PSW 2000 active sub-woofer features an integral down-firing eight inch bass driver driven by a 150 watt built-in amplifier. Finished in a Video Grey enclosure, it has a glass bevel edged top and complementary silver feet.
