The Atrio ditches the idea of multiple drivers. Instead, the folks at Future Sonics opt for a studio-grade dynamic driver that they designed themselves. One driver means no artifacts, no phase issues and no crossover dropouts.
With the ASE, you'll get a frequency range from 18Hz up to 20kHz and a sensitivity level of 112dB at 30Hz. They also sport a new MG7 transducer, designed to help offer rich and dynamic sound.
The ASE is eco-friendly too. The headphones themselves are made traditionally, but the packaging and zipper case are created from post consumer paper and plastic as well as plant fibers and the rubber from reclaimed truck tires.
You can pick up the Atrio Special Edition headphones now at a price of $229.
