Aperion’s SLIMstage30 is designed to fit the needs of those who are bit pickier about their sound. “Most consumers already expect that a single speaker really can't match the surround sound performance of a discreet 5.1 home theater system,” explains marketing VP Ed de la Fuente. “Still important, however, are dialogue intelligibility, a wide surround effect, and clean, dynamic bass.”
The SLIMstage30 sports a Soundmatters Linear Magnetic Drive speaker array with a 140W RMS at less than 0.8% total harmonic distortion. Unlike many soundbars, the SLIMstage30 doesn’t require reflecting walls. It uses Euphony HD technology to create virtual surround.
It’s got plenty of audio inputs including RCA, optical and coaxial, and it sports outputs for a subwoofer and rear speakers.
Aperion’s new soundbar can be had at a standalone price of $599. Those wishing to add a bit of bass to their experience can pick it up with the Aperion Bravus 8A Subwoofer for $799.
