Canadian electronics manufacturer Paradigm has improved upon its old Statement design many times over with the new Statement D2v version 2 that is now shipping for $7,499 USD. This preamplifier/processor is packed with high-end inputs, outputs and a robust feature sets. The version 2 takes the original inputs and outputs of its predecessor and doubles them. In total, it has eight HDMI 1.3c inputs and two HDMI 1.3c outputs - an addition of four inputs and one output over the original Statement. The video features of the Statement include 3D noise reduction, artifact reduction, de-interlacing, mosquito noise reduction and adaptive detail/contrast enhancement. In the audio realm, the Statement D2v version 2 can handle Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD High-Resolution Audio and Dolby Digital Plus with its two dual-core DSP engines, so you can enjoy lossless audio with all of the newest Blu-Rays. The Statement uses Room Correction by Anthem in order to adjust audio to your room’s frequency response. |
