Halcro
recently introduced two feature-packed surround sound processors, to
compliment their new Logic Series, the SSP100 and SSP80. Halcro Logic
Surround Processors are designed to handle the array of home theater
applications with sophisticated design yet simple operation. The SSP100
includes four HDMI switchable inputs, while the SSP80 offers three.
This connection feature allows a single cable to transport both audio
and video signals, eliminating cable clutter and improving resolution.
Multi-channel SACD and DVD audio playback is accomplished through an analog bypass, which preserves the integrity of the audio signal. This results in the highest standard in audio reproduction without compression, according to Halcro. To preserve consumers’ investments, the Logic series is upgradeable and offers a USB connection for software upgrades as product enhancements evolve. Each model is supplied with the Halcro UTSR1, a universal touch screen remote, which controls the Logic system and all other existing equipment. The remote also comes with a charging docking station for charging the UTSR1. The suggested retail prices of the SSP100 and SSP80 are $9,990 and $7,990 respectively. |
