Pass Labs says that this is intended as a transitional product, bridging the gap between high performance audiophile oriented gear and less expensive, user-friendly products. Pass’ new INT-30A has a construction and design similar to that of their XA30.5 stereo amplifier, right down to the patented Super Symmetry circuit. By precisely matching characteristics of the two halves of a balanced amp, Pass claims that distortion and noise are virtually undetectable.
XLR and RCA inputs and outputs are available on the INT-30A, as well as left and right channel speaker connectors. The simple front panel of the INT-30A sports a volume knob, mute and standby indicators, and four input selection buttons. The Pass Labs INT-30A is available now at a price of $7,150 from authorized dealers.
