C-7000R , the company's new amplifier and preamp are designed with a late 80's aesthetic. They're black, they're sharp, and they're equipped with a minimum of subtly designed front controls.
The M-5000R power amplifier uses Onkyo's AWRAT amp design and three-stage inverted Darlington circuitry. It also boasts a brand new Quad Push-Pull design that uses an extra pair of transistors per channel. You can pick up the 5000R this month for $2,499.
The matching preamp is the P-3000R which, like the rest of Onkyo's new components, boasts DIDRC circuitry to help eliminate unwanted distortion. Getting rid of that distortion means the prevention of audio interference that could ruin your listening experience. The 3000R can be had for $1,699.
