The announcement of the PM5004 and PM8004 marks the final one in the huge new rollout by Marantz. These two new amps share the same look as the company's flagship amplifiers, with brushed aluminum in the center of the case and, of course, the classic Marantz star front and center. They've got three sets of IR codes, Flasher input and a few other features to make them nice and friendly for the custom installer.
The PM8004, which replaces the PM8003, also sports HDAM-SA3 technology, onboard high-current supply capabilities, Tri Tone Control, Phono EQ and full discreet Current Feedback amplifier circuitry. You'll be able to pick it up in August at a price of $999. The PM5004 replaces the PM5003, as you might expect, and will be available this month at a price of $449.
