Fujitsu General America, a leader in the fast-growing plasma display market, has announced its End-of-Year Rebate program, offering consumers generous cash incentives to purchase eight of the company’s 51-Series HDTV Plasmavision flatpanel HDTV sets. The consumer rebate program runs from September 30 through December 31, 2006, offering between $500 and $1,500 cash back on the advanced 51-Series sets. The company will offer $500 cash back on the Plasmavision HDTV P42XTA51US and P42XTA51UB (both with a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $4,999), as well as the 50-inch P50XTA51US and P50XTA51UB (both with a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $6,499). In addition, Fujitsu will offer $1,000 cash back on the 55-inch Models P55XTA51US and P55XTA51UB (both with a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $8,999) and $1,500 on the 63-inch P63XTA51US and P63XTA51UB sets (both with a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $13,499). Fujitsu must receive all customer rebate submissions by January 31, 2007 in order to apply. Fujitsu’s eight integrated Plasmavision 51-series HDTVs, available with either silver or high gloss black bezel styling, are all Digital Cable Ready (DCR) plasmas featuring QAM tuners and CableCARD technology. All models come standard with external, side-mounted speakers. Fujitsu’s Plasmavision 51-series plasma TVs feature the Advanced Video Movement-II (AVM-II) Digital Video Processor which virtually eliminates artifacts and digital noise, optimizing content from all sources. The result is detailed picture quality and natural color display.
