Memory-Tech Creates a $2000 Glass CD

Memory-Tech, a Japanese CD manufacturer, has begun replicating client's music in glass. Memory-Tech claims that glass CDs, which they have dubbed “Crystal Discs”, sound better than their polycarbonate counterparts. The glass discs cost approximately $2000 each.

Currently, these "Crystal Discs" appear to be targeted at Japanese audiophiles. Some of the titles currently available include Mariko Senjyu, a Japanese violinist, three other Japanese classical artists, Beethoven and several similar classical artists.

Dear Sir,
We have been making these discs (by imprinting) but also some others
by Plasma Etching for Archiving for more than 20 years!
and our price is much,
much lower ;-)
