In early October, AudioRevolution.com reported that Warner Music Group will be releasing 7 tiles on the highly anticipated DVD-Audio format this week. According to a spokeswoman from Warner Music Group (WMG), the release of these titles will be delayed until Tuesday November 14th, 2000. Due to the amount of additional content provided on each DVD-Audio title, WMG felt the extra time was necessary to put the finishing touches on the releases.
The titles are: Beethoven: Symphonies Nos. 4 & 5, conducted by Daniel Barenboim with the Staatskapelle Berlin; Core, by Stone Temple Pilots; Tigerlily, by Natalie Merchant; Johann Strauss in Berlin, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt with the Berlin Philharmonic; Brain Salad Surgery, by Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Hommage a l'Orchestre Lamoureux: Chabrier's Espana & Ravel's Bolero, with Orchestre Lamoureux conducted by Yutaka Sado, and The Bedroom Mixes, by the Jazz At The Movies Band. Additional titles will be released in mid-December and AudioRevolution.com will keep you posted when the official release date is available.
