On Tuesday November 26 DTS Entertainment will release of David Crosby and Graham Nash’s surround remix of Another Stoney Evening. This 24/96 multi-channel mix exemplifies how surround sound can re-create “live” concerts by placing the listener right in the middle of the show. This DVD-Audio title features hits like “Déjà Vu,” “Wooden Ships,” “Imagination Man,” “Teach Your Children,” and many other classics performed by the duo.
“Live concert recordings delivered in two-channel stereo often lack the full sonic realism of the original performance,” said David DelGrosso, Vice President of Marketing at DTS. “This 24/96 surround remix of Another Stoney Evening instantly restores all the vitality that was originally captured on the master tapes, but lost on all previous stereo mixes.”
On the back of the DVD-Audio there is an “Info Grid” for easy technical specs and bonus features included on the disc. Some of the special features include an elaborate on-screen photo gallery, complete transcripts of all song lyrics between-song dialog and a hidden “Easter Egg” for DVD enthusiasts.
