Vantage’s Digital Music Manager, or DMM-4S, is now shipping after two years of R&D. It offers four-zone/four-source capabilities while it aggregates all digital media connected to the home network. Vantage has also teamed up with vTuner to give users Internet radio access on the DMM-4S to stations they create via vTuner.
Other features of the DMM-4S include 500 GB of storage, the ability to rip CDs at 7 times sampling, and a pre-load option where Vantage’s partner storage company Terra-SAN would load music into the device, or provide dealers with a hard drive so they could do it themselves. The DMM-4S is retailing now for $6,400, and the DMM-4ST, which offers 1 Terrabyte of storage, is retailing for $7,590. |
