Panja, a leader in the emerging market for appliances that extend the Internet beyond the PC, and Music Choice, the world's largest provider of CD quality music to cable, satellite, telephone and Internet customers, announced they have formed an alliance to deliver commercial-free digital music content to consumers through Panja's line of home Internet appliances. Through this alliance, consumers who own a Panja system can receive CD quality music 24 hours a day.
Panja began integrating the Internet into its line of residential and enterprise control devices in 1998. Last year, the company unveiled the Panja 1000(TM), a home networking gateway that distributes Internet-basedcontent direct to consumer's existing audio and video components without the PC. Music Choice currently provides commercial-free digital music to more than 18 million homes and businesses worldwide via cable, satellite and the Internet.
