Having a home set up for audio is great. Speakers in every room all connected to the same source adds continuity, class, and lets you enjoy your listening all the more. Wiring a home for audio, on the other hand, is a chore.
NuVo’s Renovia is a solution that bypasses wiring by using Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology. Since it sends a signal directly through your existing power lines, there’s no need for extra wires, or potentially complicated wireless setups. The NuVo Main Source Hub is at the heart of the Renovia. It delivers audio and metadata from six sources to eight different listening zones within the home. It’s got an AM/FM tuner that’s Sirius ready, and two dedicated iPod inputs. You can choose from a variety of options for control. OLED wall pads are the standard, but you can also use NuVo’s new Color Touch Pad or their portable Wireless Control Pad. The base Renovia system comes with one source hub, four zone amplifiers, four E6G OLED Control Pads and a NuVo dock. It’s available to order now for $4,999 and will ship on April 12th.
