Apple
is offering a U2 iPod special edition to coincide with the release of
U2's upcoming album, "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb."
The 20GB iPod stands out with a black face and red scroll wheel, while the back has the band members' signatures engraved into traditional iPod chrome. The iPod comes with a U2 poster and classic iPod earbuds, but perhaps the biggest draw is a $50 iTunes coupon which can be used on the purchase of "The Complete U2." "The Complete U2" is a digital box set holding around 400 U2 songs, from all of their albums, including "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" as well as 25+ unreleased tracks. "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" will be released Nov. 23rd, and the iPod is due to be in local Apple stores at the same time. The U2 iPod special edition is available for $349. |
