A tell-all book about folk icon Bob Dylan written by Howard Sounes entitled Down The Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan is slated for store shelves April 9, 2001.
Down The Highway exposes Dylan for an alleged secret marrage to one of his backup singers in the mid-1980's as well as having a daughter named Desiree Gabrielle Dennis-Dylan from the union. Close freinds and suporters of Dylan knew of the marrage but kept things mum until the 1992 divorce. Dylan has never publicly acknowledged that Desiree is his daughter, but he reporteldy has maintained regular contact and provided for her and her mother financially. What is yet to be revealed about the book is why Bob Dylan remains popular even though he can't find a tune with radar. Source: ArrowFM.com |
