HD Radio Gets Support from BMW
BMW is continuing to lead the pack in support for HD radio, by incorporating HD radio into its 2009 Model Year 7 Series and 6 Series product lines.  Several vehicles, including the second-generation convertible and coupe, are fully equipped with HD radio technology.

This past March, BMW had tested real-time HD radio broadcasting to its vehicles that included such information as live traffic updates in such detail that drivers could plot and predict current and future traffic movements.  Although this technology is yet to be implemented, it is being considered for future models.
