James DesBorough, an editor for the World Entertainment News Network (WENN) is alleged to be the mystery writer behind rumors that the Beatles guitarist, George Harrison was close to his death.
DesBorough reportedly misquoted or even fabricated quotes from producer, Sir George Martin about Harrison's supposed condition. DesBorough has since been reassigned.
Harrison immediately denied the rumor. Ringo Starr confirmed Harrison was OK. George Martin quickly denied the quote. DesBorough was quoted by USA Today that he had the interview "100 percent nailed."
Wouldn’t it have been a better rumor if Paul was supposed to be dead? Oh, maybe we have heard that somewhere before.
