Rumors from Los Angeles rock radio station KLOS-FM and newsgroup postings surfaced yesterday that Axl Rose will be taking the 2000 version of Guns N Roses on tour this summer.
In a European radio interview on the Malcolm Dome show, heavy metal band Testament's guitarist Eric Peterson claimed that the band received an offer to tour in support of Guns N’ Roses. Representatives from Guns N’ Roses’ label, Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records, have yet to confirm the tour rumors. The Guns lineup now includes keyboard player Dizzy Reed, ex-Vandals drummer Josh Freese, and former Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson. Axl has retained the sole rights to the Guns N’ Roses name and is working on a new Guns studio album. The upcoming album titled "Chineese Democracy" has no official release date. |
