Guitar Icon Eric Clapton announced in a Rolling Stone interview that his world tour for his latest album, Reptile, will be his last. Clapton has two more records left on his deal with Warner Brothers and has said that he will continue recording and playing "the odd theater."

Rock stars are famous for saying "this is our last tour." Kiss and Ozzy Osbourne are good examples who couldn't stay away from the bright lights and big cities of a large scale tour.

Clapton says on RollingStone.com "Since I got sober, I've just been trying to develop . . . a career with dignity, records where I can say, 'I finished it, it's complete." "Whether or not it's up to the standard of the current thing, it's complete." One can respect such dedication to releasing quality records.
