| Blues Traveler to release new album and embark on spring 2001 tour |

Blues Traveler has made a few lineup changes and their sound may be a bit different now, but expect to hear some of their patented extended jam sessions on their 2001 spring tour.
The tour is to support their forthcoming album Bridge. This record chronicles the rebirth of a band that some people might have assumed was on the verge of fading away just a year ago. Bridge was produced by Matt Wallace and hits store shelves Tuesday, May 8, 2001. The morning of Bridge’s release lead singer John Popper will guest on the Howard Stern Show. That afternoon the band will tape an episode of the Late Show with David Letterman which will air later that evening. Immediately afterwards Blues Traveler will head straight to the VH1 studios for an interview and acoustic performance for VH1. That night Blues Traveler will play a special show at the Supper Club in New York City. And as if that wasn’t enough, the Blues Traveler boys will head over to CBGB’s for a 1:00 am jam.
