The sheer size and resolution aren’t the only things that set the XBR-84X900 apart.  Though all of Sony's other TVs use active 3D technology, the 84 inch behemoth utilizes passive tech.  You'll still get a higher resolution than you would with a passive 1080p set, but not the 4K you might expect.  Sony's XBR-84X900 will be priced at $24,999 and will show up in retail – including select Magnolia locations – this November.
