Sharp shipped its 6-Series sets last month, but now it's time for the big boys, starting with the 3D capable, LED edge-lit 7-Series. You'll find built-in Wi-Fi, Sharp's Smart Central online entertainment hub and four HDMI inputs. You can pick up a 7-Series set in 60" or 70".
The 8-Series introduces plenty of new technology and features, chief among them being Quad Pixel Plus 2 which brings yellow into the color spectrum. The 8-Series also boasts edge-it LED backlighting and a 240Hz LCD Panel. Well, that's all good enough for the 60" and 70" models, but if you step up to the massive 80" set you'll get a 480Hz refresh rate and full array LED backlighting. The 8-Series is shipping now and will be available in late March/early April. |
