You may remember the Samsung 7000s as being at the entry level of Samsung’s higher end LED backlit LCDs. They’ve got a lot of the same features as the 8000 and 9000 series, and still boast an impressive picture. The 7000 series TVs offer a 1080p display with a 240Hz refresh rate, and are made to play nice with 3D video. Unlike sets from some of the other manufacturers, if you pick up a 7000 series Samsung, you’ll still have to pick up glasses on separately.
With the 7000 series, you’ll have full access to Samsung’s Internet@TV which allows you to connect with Netflix, Amazon, Blockbuster, Flickr, Facebook and Twitter among others. You can plug in the TV to your home network for streaming directly from your PC, or play videos straight from an attached USB drive. You can pick up the UN46C7000, the 46” model, for $2,599 and the 55” UN55C7000 for $3,299.
