New Samsung HDTVs and other products will have access to Blockbuster digital content starting in the fall. The two companies signed a deal that will give customers the ability to watch Blockbuster digital videos and access the OnDemand service from their Samsung Blu-Ray players and newer HDTVs.

The Blockbuster OnDemand feature allows users to rent a video and watch it instantly. New Samsung Blu-Ray players with access to this OnDemand feature will be available for purchase through regular retailers as well as Blockbuster stores in the fall. Some select older Samsung HDTVs can access the Blockbuster OnDemand service after installing a free firmware upgrade.
