Philips Announces the DesignLine TV with a Unique Take on Style

The folks at Phiilips have created something truly unique. It's a TV that defies traditional style and form. Their new DesignLine set is designed to look like a sheet of glass fading from translucent to opaque that leans against a wall. Hidden in that is a television with smart features, Wi-Fi and more.

The DesignLine set also sports ambient lights on the back, giving a sort of floating look – ambient lighting is the sort of thing that Philips does really well. It'll be coming in 46 and 55 inch screen sizes and will be hitting Europe and Russia before making its way elsewhere. Pricing has not yet been announced.
