While the 40” BeoVision 10 is out touring America along with Aston Martin and Dom Perignon, Bang & Olufson has announced that a 46” version of the BeoVision 10 will be available next month.
If a 40” screen is just a bit too small, but you’re still a fan of the BeoVision 10, then you can kick things up to 46”. The set itself is going to be unveiled on April 14th, and in addition to a 32 percent increase in screen size it brings a few more improvements with it. To start with, the Beovision 10-46 offers 240Hz motion smoothing technology that the company says will take LCDs to a new level of smoothness. It’s also got some nice new edge based LED backlighting, which create an improved contrast ratio and brighter picture. The price of the 10-46 has not yet been announced, but with the 40” model coming in at a base price of $6,248, something in the $8,000 range wouldn’t be surprising. |
