The amount of projectors sold increased by nearly 50 percent, while the amount of money brought in only increased by 17. So either projector sales were huge in the last few months, or lower cost projectors started selling really well. Tamaryn Pritt of Quixel Research – the analysts who crunched the numbers – says that entry level models are what made the difference. "Both DLP and 3LCD entry level HD1080p models were widely available and hovering around the $999 and $1499 range, which wasn’t the case early last year." Like this article?
