Epson America will be shipping three new Ensemble HD Home Cinema Systems that will showcase Atlantic Technologies’ audio. These front projectors feature Epson’s 3LCD HD projection capabilities paired with Atlantic’s front, left and right speakers in the cradle mount. Epson has added a do-it-yourself appeal to the new Ensemble pieces, allowing videophiles to forgo the professional installer and install it themselves in about four hours.
All of these projectors will connect to an included AV controller through an HDMI cable. This controller features a DVD player, 1080p upconverting technology, iPod or iPhone port, radio tuner, two HDMI inputs, one set of HD outputs and a ten-inch subwoofer. The projector quality is the main difference between the three new models: The Ensemble HD Home Cinema System 720, retailing for a suggested price of $4,999, features a front PowerLite 720 720p HD projector; the Ensemble HD Home Cinema System 6100, retailing for a suggested price of $6,999, features a 1080p PowerLite Home Cinema 6100 projector; and the Ensemble HD Home Cinema System 6500, retailing for a suggested price of $7,999, features a PowerLite 6500.
