Epson recently announced the availability of the EH-TW5000 1080p HD home theater projector. The model has a 75,000:1 contrast ratio and comes with 1600 ANSI lumens. It features a 2:1 optical zoom as well as the standard horizontal / vertical lens shift. The EH-TW5000 projector, styled in black, uses 12-bit video processing (HVQ processor) and 4-4 pull down for film-like images. It has an anamorphic mode for third party lenses and produces 22db of sound during standard operation. The unit also comes with 2 HDMI inputs (version 1.3), component and VGA connections.
