The BlackWing Four is the new flagship model in the BlackWing series. It’s got, of course, a full 1080p resolution and a 16:9 native aspect ratio. It uses not one, but three LCoS panels and can be used for screens up to 210” wide.
The picture, which offers a 70,000:1 contrast ratio, is set up for a natural look before it ships. In fact, each projector is calibrated individually by Cineversum engineers to their European CRT like standards. Cineversum’s latest has a pair of HDMI inputs as well as one each of composite, component, and S-video. It sports an incredibly quiet fan and a new lamp with an extended 3,000 hour lifetime. The BlackWing Four is also automation friendly. The BlackWing Four is available to order now at $17,325 in either the standard black or with a slick looking faux carbon finish. It’s also able to be retrofitted for Cinemascope style screens with the $9,825 Anamorphic Lens Kit. With it, you’ll be able to switch from 16:9 to Cinemascope with the touch of a button. |
