Keeping pace with market trends, the Christie LW400 offers resolution for pixel-to-pixel compatibility with the latest laptops and video sources. The projector’s native WXGA resolution (1280x800) enables users to take advantage of the latest video or widescreen PC resolutions, and enjoy true HD video playback without having to compromise the original format. In addition, the new inorganic 3LCD light-engine provides greater contrast and deep black levels for richer detail in dark scenes.
“The Christie LW400 is simply the best-equipped projector to fit today's widescreen applications,” notes Frank Anzures, product manager, Business Products, Christie.
“Apart from the many standard features, this projector has unique characteristics. It is whisper quiet with a 31 dBA rating in economy mode and features the capability to switch on Closed Captioning to display text when playing video – two trend-setting features particularly for the education and government sectors.”
The Christie LW400 can be customized to users’ specific applications; it comes configured with six standard inputs, YPbPr and composite video to accept signals from a broad range of sources (up to 1080p). It offers Pro AV connectivity in a small cabinet design, accepting feeds from a variety of analog and digital sources. And as a single-lamp projector equipped with a long-lasting filter of up to 2000 hours and a lamp life up to 3000 hours, the Christie LW400 provides an overall lower cost of ownership than virtually any projector in its class.
The projector, which has an aspect ratio of 16:10, ships with a standard lens and offers four optional high-performance zoom and fixed lenses for throw ratios from 0.8:1 through 7.3:1. The auto digital keystone capability and vertical and horizontal lens shift provide flexibility and ease of installation. A sturdy side handle on the cabinet and the unit’s rugged design offers “grab and go” convenience for moving locations.
